ANDI MCNEW

Principal Officer

Andi McNew is a community organizer and campaign specialist who has lived in Ramona, California for almost two decades. She brought her experience as a project manager in the Air Force to San Diego County politics and has worked on every level of campaign, from presidential all the way down to local water board. She is a member of the San Diego County Democratic Party’s Central Committee, the California Democratic Party State Central Committee, and a District-Level Delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 2024.

She is passionate about sharing progressive values in rural areas, increasing the reach of the Democratic Party into the backcountry of San Diego County, and closing the political divides that are tearing our country apart.

MAX COSTON

Max Coston is a political strategist based in San Diego County, California. Starting his political experience in gun violence prevention policy, Max worked in leadership positions with March for Our Lives and Team Enough to advocate for gun safety measures on the local and state level. He is the youngest member of the San Diego County Democratic Central Committee, Secretary of the Party's East Area Caucus, and board member of Survivors Empowered. Currently, he is the founder and a partner at SP Strategies, a political and nonprofit consulting group, and the Chair of the Safer California PAC. Some policy areas that are important to Max are public safety, LGBTQIA+ rights, and voting rights.

KEVIN JUZA

Kevin Juza has been a Democratic activist and volunteer in San Diego County for several years. He was the Democratic Party endorsed candidate for Poway Unified School Board in 2018, and in 2022, he was a Democratic Party endorsed candidate for Poway City Council. In 2024, he earned the California Democratic Party’s endorsement for Assembly District 75. Kevin has spent years volunteering in the Poway community and has served on the District Advisory Council for the Poway Unified School District, as well as a board member for three different school organizations in Poway Unified.

Kevin is a small business owner who helps startups expand their inside sales teams. He lives in Poway with his wife and twin daughters.

ROSS PIKE

Growing up in rural Michigan, Ross began volunteering for the Democratic Party in 2008 during President ​Obama’s first presidential campaign. In 2017, Ross moved to Fallbrook to be closer to family, and in 2020, he ran for a seat on the Fallbrook Planning Group and won, becoming the first ​openly gay person elected in a community once ruled by the KKK. Since Ross’ historic ​election, he has worked on several campaigns, including flipping a school board seat in a heavily Republican district. In 2022, he became the first Democrat in Fallbrook to hold ​two elected offices simultaneously, when he was elected to the North County Fire Protection District Board of ​Directors.

Ross works with the National Conflict Resolution Center and ​San Diego District Attorney to reduce the school-to-prison pipeline. As the President of the Fallbrook Democratic Club, he continues to work to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot.
